I grew up in Shawnee, Kansas, but moved to the Missouri side of State Line when Tom and I bought this house six years ago. We put the house up for sale in September 2007 and endured 14 months of constant tidying, bed making, chrome shining, blinds opening, toilet lid closing, home showing hell before we decided to take it off the market long enough to enjoy the holidays in peace. We’re starting to interview realtors again and it makes me want to find something long and sharp with which to impale myself.
